Comment by Bobbie Sea on January 27, 2010 at 8:04am: I definitely recommend going through the US Copyright Office. I actually help artists get their artwork and any other tangible mediums copyrighted through the US Copyright Office. As a copyright agent I would never recommend any site like that.

2.MyFreeCopyright.com, Inc. reserves the right to remove a register for a copyright at any time for any reason.

I would advise all to stay away from this place..the Library of congress keeps your records , and thats it,,your copyright is good for 75 years and you can "Will" it to the next owner after you die,,and then its good for another 50 years.... its all very legal!

I am sueing a company now, as we speak, and I am winning due to the fact that I was able to show the Judge ( and the thiefs attorneys) my legal stamped and sealed copyrights from the Library of Congress in Washington D.C.

apply for the VA SHORT FORM ( that stands for Visual Arts) read the application to do a group copyright for all your paintings or sculpts,,costs 65 dollars for the group,,you can copyright 30 to 50 in a group or more if they have never been published to the public...thats a cheap price!

Do a seperate group copyright on the published ones.... VA LONG FORM
